Beforehand, the Jam had performed in their home competitions at the Rabobank Arena.In the year 2007, there was a competition where the fans had the freedom to decide upon on a new name for the team. On Thursday, May 17th, the team declared that the team name will remain the Bakersfield Jam, because of the reason that this name was able to win the poll in a landslide vote. After the competition, the Jam revealed a new outline for the logo. They replaced the blue with red.
